Camp, like many Collier County Parks and Recreation programs, is about learning skills, building self-confidence, developing character, encouraging individuality, and making new friends. Few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they realize both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group.
Collier County Parks and Recreation offers camps for every season in a positive and fun environment where they can engage in physical, social, and educational pursuits that will nurture their spirits, challenge their minds, and strengthen their bodies.
Summer Camps
Summer camp can be one of the most rewarding, memorable experiences in a child’s life, and if you have been to summer camp yourself as a child, you understand the positive impacts that still matter to you as an adult. With a variety of weekly themes offered in a fun and spirited environment, your campers will take nature walks, play games, make arts and crafts, participate in different sports, host guests from the community, as well as take weekly swim and field trips! With our flexible program, children have the opportunity to attend Camp Collier weekly, or for the entire summer.
